I am happily married(10yrs) to my jr. high school sweetheart Nathan. We both grew up together in our hometown Van Buren, Arkansas.
Nathan is proudly serving in the United States Army by flying Apache helicopter at Hunter Army Air Field, GA. Most people know this location to be Savannah, Georgia. ( In case you were wondering, yes, we have eaten at Paula Deen's Restaurant and it was great!) The military life has allowed us to live in North Carolina, Texas, Georgia and Alabama. We always joke about our son being five years old and he had already lived in five states.
Due to the frequent moves between duty stations and the high levels of stress that can be put on a military family, we opted for me to become a stay home mom for our children.
Staying at home allowed me to start developing web sites as a hobby. Several years ago, I felt that God had a calling on my life to create a custom web sites for small churches who didn’t really have much of a budget.
I have grown to love my clients and the churches that I have had the blessing to deal with over the years. I never really saw my self becoming a freelance web designer. However, I now believe God had another plan.
God has opened a door to use my passion for web design and technology as means to help people and still be able to stay at home for my husband and children.
This upcoming year has a lot of change for my family and Static Web Design. This fall, I will begin homeschooling our children for the first time and I have decided to dive deeper into web design. I want to offer better opportunities for individuals and churches.
All of the web sites that I design are custom made. Every one of my clients have unique layouts. When building a web site for a client, I keep three primary goals in mind. Easy Navigation , Quality and Consistency.
I haven't limited myself to only designing web sites for churches. If there is a need for a web site then I will do what I can to help any one.
I can be reached easily by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to drop me a line and ask me any computer question. I look forward to hearing from you.
